In order to breed in NSW, each Sire involved in breeding must have a Studmaster. The Studmaster is the person who will be held responsible for supervising the mating activities and completing relevant paperwork. If the owner of a Sire wishes to breed, then they need to apply to GRNSW to become a Studmaster by completing the form linked below.
If someone other than the owner of the Sire wishes to breed with the Sire, then they still need to apply to GRNSW to become a Studmaster, but in addition a Breeding Lease – Sire / Breeders Authority also needs to be completed.
