General Information

Wentworth Park is the showpiece of greyhound racing in NSW with first class amenities including a two level grandstand, ensuring that every patron has an uninterrupted view of the entire track from any seat within the stand. Metropolitan racing occurs every Friday and Saturday throughout the entire year. Excellent facilities are available for patrons including a restaurant, bars, kiosks, function rooms, and indoor betting pavilion. The track has a loam surface and a cable lure system is in operation.

The Wentworth Park complex is located on Wentworth Park Road Glebe.

Nominations closing times:
Nominations for both the Friday and Saturday meetings at Wentworth Park will be closing at 9am on the Tuesday prior. Trainers are advised that even though both meetings close at the same time, the Saturday meeting will be drawn prior to the Friday meeting. Trainers are able to nominate for Saturday and “roll over” to Friday, that is, if greyhounds do not gain a start on Saturday, they can be considered for Friday.

Kennelling Times

All Wentworth Park Meetings: Kennels open 75 minutes and close 30 minutes prior to first race. Race commencement times particularly for Fridays vary according to SKY Racing programming commitments so please check each week for any variations.

It is confirmed that trials will still be available after Saturday night meetings, limited as before to those trainers who have a runner in the meeting. Some changes to the booking procedure for these Saturday night trials have been made as stated below:
On the night, if they want to trial, trainers are requested to advise the Weights Clerk when weighing in their race dog/s and then to purchase their trial ticket at the Race Night Office early on in the night when collecting their unplaced prize money.
The Saturday night trials are conducted over 520, 280 and 720m and are field trials only.
