General Information
Wentworth Park is the showpiece of greyhound racing in NSW with first class amenities including a two level grandstand, ensuring that every patron has an uninterrupted view of the entire track from any seat within the stand. Metropolitan racing occurs every Friday and Saturday throughout the entire year. Excellent facilities are available for patrons including a restaurant, bars, kiosks, function rooms, and indoor betting pavilion. The track has a loam surface and a cable lure system is in operation.
The Wentworth Park complex is located on Wentworth Park Road Glebe.

Trials
Monday Night (Monday trials are not held on Public Holidays BUT a session will be held on the Tuesday following in lieu - same times) Ordinary trials 6.00 to 7.20 pm Arm Trials 7.20 to 8.30 pm Friday Nights after the Last Race Field and solo trials (no arm trials) Tickets to be purchased no later than race 8 (Free entry to the track for participants who are trialling only, after race 6)
The Friday sessions are for ordinary trials but not arm trials, and are open to all trainers irrespective of whether they have a runner at the meeting. It is confirmed that trials will still be available after Saturday night meetings, limited as before to those trainers who have a runner in the meeting. Some changes to the booking procedure for these Saturday night trials have been made as stated below: On the night, if they want to trial, trainers are requested to advise the Weights Clerk when weighing in their race dog/s and then to purchase their trial ticket at the Race Night Office early on in the night when collecting their unplaced prize money. The Saturday night trials are conducted over 520, 280 and 720m and are field trials only.
Additional Trialling Opportunities will be available on selected Saturday mornings (prior to Group Events) in particular the Golden Easter Egg carnival - look for separate advertising throughout the year. Use of Own Skins: Participants may bring their own skins for arm trials provided that the skins are brought to the track cleaned of all meat and blood. The skin must be shown to and approved by the trial supervisor. Use of own squeaker may be permitted also, but the approval of the Trials Supervisor must similarly be sought first. Prices Field Trials (4 dogs) $5.50 per greyhound Solo/ Handslips $11 per greyhound Arm Trials $16.50 WEDNESDAY TRIALS WILL NOT BE CONTINUED 3 months trial period (ending September 28, 2011) indicated insufficient demand.
