    Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) in consultation with the Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission (GWIC)¸ will from today implement a cap of 10 races per meeting, in order to maintain the stringent biosecurity controls.

    Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW), in consultation the Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission (GWIC), are announcing that from today only registered trainers of greyhounds will be allowed to enter race meetings. If a trainer has 4, or more, greyhounds engaged at the meeting they will be permitted to have one attendant.

    Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) and the Greyhound Welfare & Integrity Commission (GWIC) have today announced a temporary closure of 70% of racing venues across the State and the lock down of seven (7) strategically selected zoned regions outside of Sydney in a move to continue racing in the safest possible environment.
