Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) has today launched its new state of the art website, which for the first time will allow visitors to watch every NSW greyhound race live.

Launching, GRNSW’s Chief Executive Officer Tony Mestrov said the site is the culmination of six months of intense work on the project, which will not only give participants and greyhound supporters a unique new experience, but also bring the website into the 21st century.

“Our previous website has been extremely valuable as a one-stop shop for greyhound participants, fans and punters for many years,” Mr Mestrov said. “And while it was still functional and popular, we felt it needed a freshen up to bring it up to date with today’s technology, and more than merely a new coat of paint.

“So last year GRNSW made the decision that should undergo a complete rebuild, and I’m delighted with the final result and the finished product which we are able to launch today.

”The most impressive feature of the new website is that our visitors will now be able to watch every NSW greyhound race live on

”We are confident that this new platform with all its features and additions, will significantly help with two key and important objectives for the industry: driving wagering, and attracting a new audience to our sport.”

Another significant inclusion to the website - in addition to the new technology and features - will be the introduction of video race previews, produced and presented by industry expert Mark Duclos.

Duclos, and his team of form experts will each day deliver website visitors with analysis of all meetings and best bets for every NSW venue.

Apart from a cleaner, more modern design, the new is more functional and an easy to navigate website with all the features and functions previously available on the old website, plus several significant additions.

As well as the ability to watch live NSW racing - a function which is being made available to all website visitors - a new feature will allow readers to watch replays and click on relevant race results which will be embedded in the stories.

A special feature race section will give the site visitor access to a historical overview of all the NSW feature races, a list of recent winners, and replays of previous editions of each event.

Another special addition are improved statistics for trainers, which includes their record at individual tracks, over specific distances, in all grades of races, and their success rate in relation to starting prices. The feature also includes the results of the trainer’s recent starters and their upcoming nominations.

All the form for every meeting, the tips and analysis, and the replays of all races are still available and easy to access, and GRNSW have also made these features now available to all website visitors.

Members will still be able to access all their previous features, importantly the blackbook function where all their future winners are stored.

Importantly in this device-dominated society, unlike its predecessor, the new website is mobile device friendly.
