Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) has today announced a further prizemoney boost for participants across the State.

GRNSW has confirmed that in the next month a total of 18 race meetings around NSW will now carry extra prizemoney, with an additional eight meetings being added today.

The extra increases follow the announcement earlier this month that GRNSW would allocate additional prizemoney made available through cost-saving measures at GRNSW and funds normally be used for Wednesday City meetings at Wentworth Park, which has temporarily ceased racing since the regional zoned racing plan was put in place to combat COVID-19.

With the publishing last Saturday of the latest four-week racing schedule, GRNSW included 10 meetings which would carry extra prizemoney, and now with today’s announcement, it ensures all regions are catered for with additional prizemoney meetings.

The additional meetings added today are: Ladbrokes Gardens, 5th May, Dubbo, Thursday 7th May, Temora, Sunday 10th May, Lismore, Tuesday 12th May, Bulli, Saturday 16th May, Maitland, Monday 18th May, Dubbo, 21st May, and Bathurst, Monday 25th May.

These new meetings have been added to the original 10 increased prizemoney meetings for the month at: Lismore, Tuesday 28th April, Goulburn, Friday 1st May, Maitland, Monday 4th May, Dapto, Thursday 7th May, Bathurst, Monday 11th May, Ladbrokes Gardens, Friday 15th May, Grafton, Saturday 16th May, Gunnedah, Wednesday 20th May, Richmond, Friday 22nd May and Wagga Wagga, Sunday 24th May.

At each of these meetings the following prizemoney will be allocated: NG $3,000 to the winner, 4th grade $2,800 to the winner, and 5th grade $2,500 to the winner, for races of 421m and over.
