Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) has today released the new racing schedule for the next four weeks in relation to the regional zoning which was introduced late last month, following the outbreak of COVID-19.

GRNSW has worked in collaboration with the Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission (GWIC) to facilitate a new calendar which has additional meetings in all regions.

The Western Districts will now have three meetings a week, two at Bathurst on Mondays and Fridays, with Dubbo hosting a twilight meeting each Thursday.

The New England region will have a weekly race meeting now with Gunnedah racing every Wednesday, while the Riverina also has a meeting every Sunday, with Temora now joining that region as a venue alongside Wagga Wagga.

The Northern Rivers will race three times every week, with Lismore on Tuesdays, and Grafton on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and an additional Lismore meeting will be staged every two weeks on Thursdays.

The Hunter region now has five meetings a week with Maitland racing on Mondays and Thursdays, and Ladbrokes Gardens racing on Tuesdays, Friday and Saturdays.

The Southern/Metropolitan zone will have eight meetings a week, with Richmond racing on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Goulburn on Tuesdays and Fridays, Bulli on Saturday nights, and Dapto on Thursday nights.

With this new schedule now in place, the GRNSW grading department will complete programming for each of the meetings, and this will be available on thedogs website in the next few days.

The full schedule can be found here.
