GRNSW is responsible for the long-term commercial viability of greyhound racing for the benefit of participants, business partners and the community, while the independent regulator, the Greyhound Welfare & Integrity Commission (GWIC), is responsible for upholding high animal welfare standards, overseeing the integrity of the industry, and monitoring and enforcing compliance.
