Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
It’s a huge week next week with finals of the Ladbrokes 715 at The Gardens, the Grafton Cup, and the Broken Hill Cup. But there are also plenty of other big races each week on the calendar around the State.
We commence this week with Wentworth Park on Wednesday May 3 with a 520m Wentworth Park Battlers worth $4,000 to the winner.
At Casino on Star Wars day, Thursday May 4th, we have 484m 4/5th Grade Heats with a $6,000 final.
At Gosford on Friday May 5 we have 388m 5th Grade Versatility Heats & 603m 5th Grade Versatility Heats with a 520m final at Wentworth Park worth $8,000.
At Wentworth Park on Friday May 5 we have 520m 5th Grade 1-4 Win Heats with an $8,000 final.
On Ladbrokes 715 night at The Gardens, Saturday May 6 we also have an 843m Marathon worth $10,000 to the winner.
At Grafton on Sunday May 7 we have 350m 5th Grade Heats with a $2,000 final.
On Monday May 8 at Maitland we have 450m 5th Grade Heats with a $5,000 final. This is also an extra prizemoney meeting for graded races over 450m and 565m.
At Nowra on Monday May 8 we have 365m Maiden Heats with a $2,000 final.
And finally at Bulli on Tuesday May 9 we have 400m 5th Grade Bitches Only Heats with a $3,000 final and 400m 5th Grade Dogs Only Heats with a $3,000 final.
Trainers should check the calendar on thedogs.com.au site for specific conditions that may be applicable to some events.
