Has Ability, whose future seemed forlorn when he was broken in, maintained his steady path of improvement when he scored his first Wentworth Park win on June 7 and is drawn to complete the double there on Wednesday night.
Has Ability has box eight in race four, a 520m fifth grade, and while trainer Stuart Hazlett said "he still has a lot to learn'' he is encouraged by the way the dog has developed since being educated.
Has Abilty's toughest rival looms as the Johnny Thomas-trained Coco Creek, who clocked a quick 29.45 in finishing second at Ladbrokes Gardens last Friday.
"Coco Creek is a fast dog but has never seen Wentworth Park,'' Thomas said.
"Having said that I would not be bringing him to Wenty if I didn't think he was good enough to win there.
"Coco Creek can trial 29.30 and 29.40 over 515m at The Gardens where he runs home between 11.79 and 11.81 so that tells you he has talent.
"He lacks a bit of early speed but if he happens to be second or third on the back straight on Wednesday he'll be hard to hold off.''
Garden Party has finished fourth in each of three starts since a spell but trainer Ron Asquith believes box one could put her back into the prizemoney on Wednesday night.
Garden Party, who has clocked 29.96 at Wentworth Park, will wear the red rug in race seven, a 520m fifth grade, after drawing boxes four and seven in her past three appearances.
"She has to have an inside draw, so now she's got it and all she has to do is to use it,'' Asquith said.
"I don't think Garden Party is far off her best form.''
Garden Party could secure a nice run to the first turn as Especially Rare, who has box two, tends to use a bit of the track.
Aussie Cortis failed to beat one home at his most recent outing at Bulli on May 31 but trainer James Cortis believes there were excuses for that flop.

Aussie Cortis has box three in Wednesday night's third race, a 520m third grade Masters event, and Cortis said: "He got his muzzle caught up in the boxes at Bulli and he came up with the lids.
"If he repeated the 30.08 he clocked when he won at Wentworth Park on March 18 he would be hard to beat because this looks a winnable race.
"But Aussie Cortis has to step cleanly out of the boxes because he doesn't like pressure on his outside, which is why I would prefer to see him drawn wide.''
Screaming Jet appeals as Wednesday night's best bet after drawing nicely in box eight in the 520m Free-For-All, where he is seeking his fifth straight Wentworth Park win.
Aussie Warpath, who produced his best performance when a strong finshing second to Farmor Order at Wentworth Park last Saturday night, could break through for his first win at headquarters in Wednesday's second event, a 520m fifth grade.
Aussie Warpath clocked a nippy 30.04 when he flashed home to beat all but Farmor Order last Saturday after being placed in five of seven previous Wentworth Park appearances.
