Greyhound Racing NSW Board has approved the commencement of a recruitment process for a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation.
The Board's Remuneration Committee has undertaken an independent, competitive process for the appointment of a recruitment firm to manage the process and provide advice.
BKD Executive Leaders have been selected to undertake the assignment.
BKD Executive Leaders is led by Ben Buckley, who has extensive experience in sports management, including being the former CEO of the Football Federation of Australia and chairman of the North Melbourne Football Club. His company has the industry knowledge, professional standing, and working relationships to conduct a thorough, independent search for a CEO.
The position will be advertised in the national newspaper, The Australian, on Saturday, the 26th of October 2024, and the digital job site, Seek.
