He has waited 56 years to achieve it but trainer Eddie Foyle was rewarded with his first winning double at Wentworth Park on Saturday night when litter sisters Rema's Blue and Rema's Amethyst were successful.
Foyle, 88, has been training since 1968 and not only owns his winning sisters but also bred them, from his bitch Rema's Jade.
Rema's Blue ran down pacemaker Cawbourne Speech to win in 30.06 while Rema's Emerald led throughout to win by six lengths in a fast 29.68.
Foyle's Wentworth Park newcomer Rema's Marble, another from his Feral Franky-Rema's Jade litter, finished a distant third to the Darryl Thomas-trained Sassy Supreme in 29.64, fastest time of the night.
Rema's Marble's minor placing gave Foyle a handy $13,125 prizemoney collect on Saturday night.
Minh Alfie, formerly owned by Melbourne thoroughbred race broadcaster Terry Bailey, gave his new owner Paul Bunyran and trainer Preston Rowles a quick result when he led throughout for an easy win on Saturday in 29.92.
Bunyan, who raced the former Jimmy Madigan-trained outstanding speedster Bright Ebony, purchased Minh Alfie from Bailey after the dog won a 460m maiden race at Warragul on August 1.
The dog's new trainer Preston Rowles said: "When Minh Alfie had no luck finishing sixth for me at Wentworth Park on October 24 he was my first starter at the track in six or seven years.
"I had a break from the sport to establish my own roofing business but now have seven dogs in work.
"Minh Alfie clocked a smart 24.12 in a post-to-post slip before he finished sixth late last month but that was the dog's first 520m test so he had to be capable of improving.''
Nangar Lady scored her fourth Wentworth Park win in 22 days and her second victory at the track in 72 hours when she led all the way to clock 29.75 in Saturday's opening event.
Nangar Lady has jumped smartly in each of her four Wenty wins and Andy Lord, whose wife Jodie trains the greyhound, said: "Early in her career she was a moderate beginner but now it seems to have clicked and she not only jumps well, but is strong at the finish as well.
"Joe Lannutti, a client of ours, bought her from her breeder Dennis Barnes three months ago.
"Some people queried Nangar Lady backing up tonight after winning at Wentworth Park on Thursday but if they pull up well there is no reason why they can't race and win again.
"Many years ago dogs often raced during the day and backed up to win again at another race meeting on the same night.''
Hayley Moffitt, daughter of Andy and Jodie Lord, scored her third successive Wenty win with Sinaloa Girl on Saturday night but training honours were with Mark Gatt.
His dog Ritza Smoke led throughout to defeat his kennelmate Deadly Class in 29.96 while Sammy Ethan, another Gatt-trained dog, notched his 11th Wentworth Park win when he led all the way in a smart 29.73.
