Wentworth Park's new 520m record holder Dalwhinnie is off to Brisbane next Thursday to contest a heat of the age-restricted Rising Stars Stakes at Albion Park.
"It's a group 3 race worth $30,000 to the winner of the final on November 21,'' trainer Bill Butler said.
"Dalwhinnie trialled over the Albion Park 520m trip between races last Wednesday and clocked 29.88.''
Million Dollar Chase winner Jay Is Jay set a course record of 29.35 winning at Albion Park on March 16, 2023, so Dalwhinnie's figures at his first look at the track were most promising.

National Derby winner History's Coming's Maitland Gold Cup campaign begins in earnest tonight when he exits box two in a 400m top-grade event.
An unexpected error occurred.
History's Coming was having his second start after a short spell when he scored an impressive win over 324m up the Richmond straight last Thursday and trainer Tom Rees is confident the dog is coming back to the form that saw him lead throughout in the Group 1 Derby at Wentworth Park in January.
"He just wasn't performing as I know he can so I turned him out for five weeks and did nothing with him,'' Rees said.
"It was pleasing to see him bounce back with that win at Richmond on Thursday and I plan to keep him going at Richmond and Maitland until the Cup heats over 450m at Maitland on November 28.''
History's Coming began his career with a bang, as after winning his maiden race at Bulli in November 2023, he won at each of his next five starts at the south coast track.
He goes into tonight's Maitland race boasting the impressive strike rate of 13 wins from 33 races.

John Boersma celebrated his 86th birthday 24 hours early when he trained a winning double at Dapto last Thursday.
Boersma, who has been training greyhounds since 1957, won 520m races with Flying Aussie and Takahi Aussie, and also secured a second placing with Jack's Wish and a minor placing with Another Siam.
"Takahi Aussie has won six races and while Flying Aussie has won only three I reckon he is a bit quicker,'' Boersma said.
"They had both been unplaced at Nowra last Monday but the silent lure there didn't suit them, they need to hear a bit of noise to stir them up when they are racing.
"I'm kept pretty busy because I have nine greyhounds in work plus a couple of retired dogs and most of my dogs are born on my property and stay there until they die.
"My wife passed away a couple of years back and if I didn't have greyhounds to keep me going I probably would have taken up drinking and smoking and might not be here now.
"It's a long while since I've raced at Wentworth Park but I plan to be there with Flying Aussie and Takahi Aussie within the next month.''
