Recycled was sent out an odds-on favourite when beaten a half-length by Pronouns at Wentworth Park on Boxing Day but is drawn to turn the tables when they clash again in Saturday night's opening race.
Pronouns, who led throughout from box five to notch her third straight WP win, has box seven in Saturday's NSW GBOTA Welcome Stakes, a 520m fifth grade, while Recycled, who drew four when he was the runner-up, will wear the pink rug.
"He is perfectly drawn in box eight on Saturday and will be all the better for the December 26 run,'' Recycled's trainer Jason Mackay said.
An unexpected error occurred.
"He missed the kick last time out and while his run was good, he was lacking in match fitness so I expect him to go better on Saturday.''
When he raced at WP on Boxing Day, Recycled was coming off 450m wins at Grafton and Maitland and had not been over 520m since winning at WP on September 14.
And while Pronouns has not bettered 29.73 in her three WP wins, Recycled boasts a personal best 520m time of 29.45 at the track.
Rory Rogue had no luck when a distant second to boom youngster Zig Zag Man in his WP debut last Saturday night and looks to have found an easier race in this week's Ladbrokes Communities Stakes, a 520m fifth grade.
Last week Rory Rogue jumped midfield from box two and after being hampered on the back straight, ran home solidly to be beaten seven lengths by Zig Zag Man in a sizzling 29.49.
Bradley Wakem, trainer of Rory Rogue, said: "He didn't begin that great last week and then collided on the back straight.
"The winner was far too good but this week's race looks a bit easier.
"Box four is no help because when Rory Rogue has dogs in front of him he wants to go around them so I would have preferred to see him drawn wide.
"But before he raced last week I gave him two trials over 520m at WP and he clocked 30.03 and then 29.88, so he has the ability to win this race if he gets a clear run.''
Jungle Johnny, who led from the first turn to narrowly defeat subsequent WP 520m record smasher Dalwhinnie in a fast 29.59 at his debut on October 10, returns to headquarters with new trainer Mark Gatt on Saturday night.
Jungle Johnny has box six in the Follow RPV On Facebook Stakes, a 520m 1 to 3 wins fifth grade.
The dog has not raced since taking a tumble at WP on November 28, with owner-trainer John Maroun transferring Jungle Johnny to Mark Gatt's kennels shortly after.
Mark Gatt said: "Although Jungle Johnny has not raced since that fall he is trialling well.
"But while he is going well for me, he is not showing any more early pace than he was when he last raced.
"So I think as he matures Jungle Johnny might be better suited over a bit more ground than 520m, especially as his dam, Springvale Carla, was a stayer.''
Hamiso has missed a place in each of two WP appearances but the Billy Dance-trained two-year-old, who has won three from six races at the provincials, looks hard to beat in Saturday's Ladbrokes Bet Ticker Stakes, another 1 to 3 wins 520m fifth grade.
Hamiso was far from disgraced when beating all but the placegetters behind Cunningham in a slick 29.77 at WP on Boxing Day after showing great early pace to lead throughout over 515m at Ladbrokes Gardens, in a fastest time of the night 29.67, on December 9.
Hamiso jumped brilliantly from box two in The Gardens win and looks ideally placed to lead all the way from box one on Saturday night.
