Alice Cook, who worked for 20 years for the NSW Greyhound Racing Control Board - the pre-cursor of GRNSW & GWIC - passed away, aged 85, on Wednesday after a short illness.
Apart from serving with the GRCB for two decades, Alice Cook was a lifelong stalwart and official of the Lithgow greyhound club and track.
Her daughter Beth is a regular at NSW tracks, handling greyhounds trained by her partner, Syd Swain.
GRNSW and its staff wish to extend deepest condolences to the family and friends of Alice Cook.
