Following industry and participant feedback, Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) will introduce from April 13, the vision of box draws for all race meetings across the State.
While GRNSW has never had any concerns with the integrity in which box draws have been conducted, this latest initiative adds a further layer of transparency to the process.
Box draws will be conducted as per usual through the Ozchase platform, and viewers will be able to witness the process and the draws for each race meeting.
While the objective will be to eventually broadcast these draws live, an obligation and strict regulation of Facebook business pages is that the page must be created and exist for 60 days minimum before live content can be streamed, and have more than 100 followers. Once the Facebook obligation has been met on May 25, box draws will then be able to be streamed live on that page.

In the meantime, until they are shown live, the box draws will be filmed live from April 13 and then posted on the Facebook page for all to see. We urge all participants to follow the page so that we can use the platform for other notifications on the NSW industry.
