A leg cut has kept My Baby Brooke away from the racetrack for a month but she is trialling well enough to complete a Wentworth Park hat-trick tonight.
My Baby Brooke has box four in the Farrell's 4x2 Stakes, a 1-4 wins fifth grade, and trainer Bobby Hodges said: "When she scored her second successive win at Wenty on April 23 she suffered a cut leg.
"But a couple of weeks ago I was able to start trialling her again and she is up to where she was before that mishap.
"Although she has box four, My Baby Brooke will like having an empty box on her left.
"And the prospect of a wet, soft track, should suit a front-runner like My Baby Brooke.''
Riley Dozer has been runner-up in two of seven Wentworth Park appearances but the Ruth King-trained dog gets a golden opportunity to break through after drawing box one in tonight's Wenty Leagues 520m fifth grade.
Riley Dozer was a strong finishing second from box five at his most recent Wentworth Park outing on May 21 and trainer Ruth King said: "He is desperate for a rails’ draw.
"He is a funny dog in that he doesn't seem to get going until he finds the fence.
"When he is caught on the outside of other dogs Riley Dozer doesn't seem to know what to do.''
King will be hoping Riley Dozer can complete a "family double" as her greyhound's older half brother, Ayden's Warrior, has just taken out the group one $150,000 to the winner Sandown Cup, for trainers Jodie Lord and Jason Thompson.
Bull Market improved sharply to win his 520m maiden race at Wentworth Park in a flying 29.48 last Thursday night and should have no trouble taking out tonight's Sponsor a Race 1-4 wins fifth grade over 520m.
Bull Market was trained by Patricia Chaker for owner Mark Gatt last week but has now joined the kennels of Daniel Gatt, Mark's brother and partner.
Mark Gatt explained: "Daniel and I bred Bull Market and we had given him and another dog to Patricia Chaker to train for us.
"Her son Jackson pre-trained Bull Market and when we told him we might sell him he advised us against it.
"You won't want to sell this dog, he is too good,'' was Jackson's comment.
"So we left Bull Market with his mum for his race debut and the dog trialled a very respectable 29.80 at WP before he raced last week.
"But Bull Market certainly went up a notch when he led all the way from box two and clocked 29.48.''
Daniel Gatt is also the trainer of the unraced by impeccably-bred Ritza Sophie, who makes her debut in Thursday's We Stand With Tasmania 520m maiden event.
They don't with more regal bloodlines than Ritza Sophie, as her sire is the boom stud dog Bernardo while her dam is Good Odds Cash.
Ritza Sophie's mother was a group race winner who was successful in 28 of 59 starts, earning just on $390,000.
Most open on tonight's card is race eight, a 520m fourth and fifth grade where four of the seven runners will have support.
Fletcher Sharpe, the Newcastle Knights rugby league star who many considered unlucky to miss State Of Origin selection, has his dog Cessnock Curtain in box one.
Cessnock Curtain is a Wentworth Park placegetter who has won 10 of 33 provincial starts while Ronaldo Vella (box four), Take A Break (box seven) and Gloria Keeping (box eight) have between them won 10 races at headquarters.
The draw favours Gloria Keeping, who runs her best races when positioned out wide and who looks set to secure a clear run to the first turn.
