She's That Girl will be set for Brisbane's group one Flying Amy Classic after maintaining her unbeaten record at Wentworth Park with a powerful "come from behind" performance to take out Saturday night's group three Evans & Son Ladies Bracelet.

She's That Girl took her Wentworth Park tally to six wins from as many appearances and gave trainer Peter Lagogiane his third success in the Bracelet, after he won with Pay Call in 2021 and French Martini 12 months later.

Rank outsider Ferrero Girl made the pace to the home bend from Gets Late Early while Taormina and She's That Girl were close up in three and four positions respectively.

But She's That Girl unwound a stunning finishing burst along the rails to win by a length from Taormina, with Ferrero Girl a length back third.

The winner covered the 520m in 29.94, well outside the race record shared by 2014 winner Zipping Willow and Pay Call who each won in 29.44.

"I will give She's That Girl a week off and then get her ready for the heats of the Flying Amy Classic at the new Q1 Parklands track on May 31,'' Peter Lagogiane said later.

The final of the Flying Amy, to be held on June 7, is worth $150,000 to the winner.

She's That Girl's win completed a treble for Peter Lagogiane on Saturday night, as he had won earlier with the strongly fancied Cool Junior in 29.80 and hot favourite Summer Quinn in 30.02.

Kangaroo Jack, who was tried as a stayer when a tiring second over 720m at Wentworth Park last August, staged a remarkable return to sprint racing by leading throughout in Saturday night's group 3 Bob Payne Sprint.

Trained by Syd Swain for his long-time clients, the Verhagen family, Kangaroo Jack was a $13 outsider after doing much of his racing this year over distances longer than 520m.

But he bolted away with Saturday's final, winning by five lengths from another outsider, Trunkey Chief, who came from last early.

Overflow Beau, who began well but could not quite head off Kangaroo Jack in the run to the first corner, was just under a length away third in 29.76.

Those figures were wide of the 29.55 race record set by Zipping Megatron in 2024.

Bonus Ethics' tenacious all the way win on Saturday night continued a long and successful association between owner, breeder and trainer David Smith with fellow trainer Peter Rodgers.

Bonus Ethics had a bumping duel with her litter sister Maggie's Ethics in the run to the first turn but took over going through the catching pen and won by four lengths in 30.30.

After the race Peter Rodgers said: "Several years ago I began educating unraced dogs for David Smith and he used to tell me that whenever I wanted to keep any of these youngsters to train myself I could do so.

"I trained an outstanding bitch called Lightnin' Ethics for David but after she won nine of 23 races in 2022 and was on the verge of a great career she went amiss and had to be retired.''

Armatree Honey suprised most keen judges but not her trainer Ric Anderson when she gave Tiki Magic a big start and a beating to win on Saturday night in 29.88.

Armatree Honey lost ground at the start when she veered left as she exited box eight and although second entering the back straight, she was conceding a huge break to Tiki Magic.

But Armatree Honey charged home to win by a half length, with Anderson commenting: "Box eight didn't suit her because she won't run in a straight line from the boxes, she wants to cut to the rails.

"But when Armatree Honey got across into second place I thought she would win because she is so strong.

"Armatree Honey will run 600m every day of the week.''

Fastest time of the night was the 29.58 recorded by Talk About It, who led throughout in a 520m fifth grade for trainer Kristy Sultana.

Sultana trained the winner's sire, the former brilliant speedster Flying Ricciardo.
