Zipping Chetty has been runner-up to her kennelmate Zipping Balboa at her past two Wentworth Park starts, but their trainer Courtney Barnes believes she could turn the tables on Thursday night.

Zipping Chetty has box two with Zipping Balboa in box four in the Ladbrokes Srm In Multi Stakes, a 520m fifth grade, and Barnes thinks the draw favours the former.

"If I put them around against each other, Zipping Chetty would probably beat Zipping Balboa,'' Barnes said.

"Zipping Balboa is certainly going great and has a lot of ability, but he has box four on Thursday, while Chetty, who has had four and three when she has chased him home at their past two meetings, is very well positioned in two.

"Balboa has more early pace, but Chetty is stronger at the finish.''

Barnes, who has trained 76 winners in 2025, has another busy night ahead with Zipping Achilles in race three, Zipping Mooney in race seven, Zipping Garner and Zipping Cluedo in race nine, and Zipping Rhodes in race 10.

Zipping Rhodes, who clocked his personal best Wentworth Park time of 29.88 in an easy all-the-way win from box five at Wentworth Park last Saturday night, has drawn six in the Ladbrokes Same Race Multi Stakes, a 520m fifth grade.

Zipping Rhodes has recorded a slick first split of 5.49 at Wentworth Park, and with a vacant box in five he should lead throughout again on Thursday.

Zipping Achilles is one of the lesser lights in Barnes' powerful team but could break through for his first Wentworth Park win in three appearances in Thursday's Ladbrokes Sports Bar Stakes, a single win 520m fifth grade.

He came from behind to win over 520m at Richmond on August 13 before a fast finishing second behind Ritza Kris in a best of the night 29.66 at Wentworth Park last Saturday.

Barnes said: "Zipping Achilles just keeps improving.

"We didn't expect much from him and his litter siblings early on, but they are now 23 months old, and as they mature, they are getting better.''

Hardest for Zipping Achilles to beat is likely to be Cumbria Laura, who is considered well drawn in box eight by her trainer Glenn Summerfield.

Cumbria Laura made her Wentworth Park debut last Thursday but bungled the start from box eight before running on stoutly to finish third, clocking 30.12 in the process.

"I like her in box eight but not when she comes out last like she did last week,'' Summerfield said.

"Cumbria Laura is usually a safe beginner, so that bad getaway was out of character for her.

"Until last week, the only time Cumbria Laura had seen Wentworth Park had been in a hand-slip more than two months earlie,r so she should be improved.

"I gave her another short slip at Dapto on Monday and was advised that any greyhound breaking 12 seconds was flying.

"And Cumbria Laura recorded 11.93.''

Best value on Thursday should be the Jodie Lord-trained Nangar Polly, who has box three in the NSW GBOTA Welcome Maiden over 520m.

Nangar Polly has had no luck in finishing second and fourth in two Wentworth Park outings, from boxes six and eight, but she is a keen railer and is drawn to make amends from her improved draw on Thursday night.
