Gets Late Early and Both Bowers Ace, who have won a combined 27 races at the track and earned a total of more than $634,000, are poised to fill the quinella in Thursday night's Mark Hughes Foundation Free-For-All at Wentworth Park.

Speedy Pie, a last start all-the-way Wentworth Park winner in 29.78, looks sure to be the pacemaker from box four but the Minnie Finn-trained litter siblings, Gets Late Early (box eight) and Both Bowers Ace (box seven) should get the perfect "trail" courtesy of the small field of six.

Both Bowers Ace and especially Gets Late Early race well from wide draws, with Both Bowers Ace having clocked a smart 29.36 from box seven over 515m at Gosford and Gets Late Early posting her fastest Wenty figures of 29.45, after jumping from box six 12 months ago.

Both Bowers Ace is coming off successive third placings behind Canya Brew It and Speedy Pie at Wentworth Park while Gets Late Early's most recent outing was a fifth to Travelling Gem in the Goulburn Fireball final, over the unsuitable 350m journey.

In her most recent Wentworth Park performance Gets Late Early chased home Jungle Johnny, jumping from box four and clocking 29.77, in finishing a distant second to the Mark Gatt-trained star.

Mark Gatt has two starters in Thursday's Ladbrokes Srm In Multis one win 520m fifth grade, in the shape of last start winner Wyndra All Heart and his litter sister Wyndra All Smoke.

Wyndra All Smoke won her maiden race at WP in 30.23 on October 17 while Wyndra All Heart clocked a slick 29.67 winning his maiden event last Saturday night.

Gatt confirmed that Wyndra All Heart is "definitely" faster than Wyndra All Smoke.

"Although Wyndra All Smoke has good early pace and is better than her 30.23 maiden win suggests, Wyndra All Heart is definitely a much quicker greyhound,'' Gatt declared.

But Gatt concedes that although this is a single win fifth grade, it won't be easy, with Wentworth Park newcomers Nebular Stratus (box five) and Loco Dominator (box seven) showing outstanding ability at Nowra and Maitland respectively.

Kiando Florence, who broke the Muswellbrook 431m record last Thursday, will tackle 520m and Wentworth Park for the first time in Thursday's fifth grade Ladbrokes Fast Payout Stakes.

Trainer Chris Edwards said: "Kiando Florence has not seen Wentworth Park before but she trialled well enough in a post-to-post hit-out at Dubbo to indicate she has a good chance.

"Although she is stepping up an extra 89m on her Muswellbrook record run, she had to go a further 150m into the catching pen after her race there so she is fit enough.

"Kiando Florence is going so well I thought we'd have a throw at the stumps.''

Trainer Jenny Brown believes Angelic Angel can improve on her first-up second placing at Wentworth Park last Thursday if she can make the pace in this week's Ladbrokes Bet Ticker 520m fifth grade.

"Angelic Angel had clocked a nippy 24.17 in a post-to-post trial at Wentworth Park before last week's race and while I was not disappointed by her finishing second, she was unable to lead in that race and she is a much better greyhound when she can get on the lure.''

Angelic Angel's hardest rival could be the Darren Sultana-trained Little Granny, who set up a big early lead before tiring badly in the straight when fourth at Wentworth Park last Thursday.

Owner Gordon Sciberras said: "I was surprised Little Granny got run down when she got so far in front, especially when she missed a place after still leading in the straight.

"But the track was a bit heavy and I think she should go better this week.''

Sciberras is part-owner of the Vic Sultana-trained Night Agent, and gives that dog a good chance in Thursday's Ladbrokes Sports Bar 520m fifth grade.

Night Agent chased his kennelmate Billy Ray's Girl from start to finish at Wentworth Park last Thursday and Sciberras is pleased with his dog's box two draw this week.

"Night Agent wants an inside box and he is going well at present,'' Sciberras said.

"You never know, one night he might jump smartly and show what he can really do.''
