Newcomer Ritza Sophie lived up to her blueblood pedigree with a sizzling 29.57 maiden win at Wentworth Park last week and will be at long odds-on when she steps up to fifth grade there on Thursday night.
The daughter of boom sire Bernardo and National Sprint Championship winner Good Odds Cash had just four rivals but came from third going through the pen to be second on the back straight before drawing away to score by just under three lengths.
She has box three in Thursday's Support Big Freeze 520m fifth grade and trainer Daniel Gatt said: "I thought she could win last week but didn't expect her to go quite that fast.
"Ritza Sophie has a big motor but she claws at the lids when she is waiting for the boxes to open and then after that doesn't have much early pace.
"Before last week, in trials at Wentworth Park, she had only been clocking mediocre first split times of between 5.69 and 5.72 and she only recorded 5.69 last Thursday.
"She should be hard to beat again but needs to have a bit of luck getting through the field.''
Ritza Sophie's kennelmate Bull Market was sent out as a $1.90 favourite in a 520m fifth grade last week but was well back throughout and finished fifth.
Bull Market, who had won his maiden event on debut at Wentworth Park in 29.48 on May 21, gets his chance to redeem himself in Thursday's Wenty Leagues 520m fifth grade.
Trainer Daniel Gatt said: "I wasn't happy with his fifth last week but the run was better than it looks on paper.
"He was stepping up from maiden to fifth grade and during the race was putting in a strong run when he got checked.
"So I think he deserves another chance.''
Winsome Storm showed staying promise when second at his 720m debut at Wentworth Park on May 14 and faces weaker opposition in Thursday night's DJ Black Crow Cup, a fifth grade over the same course.
Winsome Storm was fourth at the first turn but moved into second position on the back straight when runner-up to Sam Sultana's up-and-coming stayer Joanne, who stopped the clock at a slick 41.95.
Although Winsome Storm rails well and has box eight on Thursday trainer Minnie Finn is not perturbed.
"Boxes don't matter much to him because he never jumps away well,'' Finn said.
"Winsome Storm is no super star but I have no doubt he will run out a solid 720m on Thursday night.''

The Jason Magri-trained litter brothers Loco Boom and Loco Storm have drawn wide on Thursday night and each looks ideally suited in their 520m fifth grades.
Loco Boom has box eight in the Mark Hughes Foundatioin Stakes while Loco Storm has drawn seven in the Simply Limelight Gosford to WP Final.
Loco Boom is the only runner in his race to have broken 30sec at Wentworth Park, and it is significant that he recorded his personal best figures of 29.68 when he exited box eight, his draw on Thursday, on January 29.
Loco Storm posted his fastest Wentworth Park time of 29.73 when he jumped from box eight on January 8 and at his only race wearing the black rug he recorded a smart 22.36 in finishing second over 400m at Bulli on May 12.
My Baby Brooke jumped cleanly to win her first two Wentworth Park races in April but bungled the start when fourth there last Thursday night.
The Bobby Hodges-trained bitch should only need to revert to her previous box manners to lead throughout in Thursday's Follow RPV Images Stakes, a 420m fifth grade.
