Peter Lagogiane thought so highly of Morning Daylight he intended taking her to Brisbane for the group one Flying Amy Classic but abandoned that plan because she is such a poor traveller.

Instead the Llandilo-based trainer has been show-casing her at Gosford and The Gardens and will bring her to Wentworth Park for the first time in Saturday night's Graham 66 Stakes, a 520m fifth grade.

Morning Daylight has compiled an extraordinary record at the provincials, winning nine of her past 10 starts, including her seven latest in succession.

A daughter of Lagogiane's former crack speedster French Martini, Morning Daylight has box eight on Saturday, the draw she had when she won narrowly at her most recent appearance, over 515m at Gosford on June 9.

While Lagogiane said he prefers Morning Daylight drawn near the rails, his kennel manager Jorja-Louise Howard likes the greyhound positioned out wide.

"Morning Daylight is a poor traveller but once you get to the track she gets so excited and as soon as she gets out of the car she jumps six feet into the air,'' Lagogiane said.

"We have to be careful not to be caught off guard and usually end up catching her in mid air.''

Unleash In Miami will be chasing his 30th win when he tackles Saturday night's Wenty Leagues 520m fifth grade and looks set to establish a big early lead.

The dog led throughout from box five but faded in the straight when a neck winner at WP last Saturday night but has a formidable record from box one, his draw on Saturday.

Unleash In Miami has won six of nine races while wearing the red rug and trainer Ike McCorkindale said: "He did what I expected him to do last Saturday and he should only need to begin okay to make the pace again.

"But his run home time last week was a steady 12.12 so I am really concerned at how close Fearless Bandit is going to be to him in the early stages on Saturday.

"Fearless Bandit has run 29.40 at WP and my dog can't run that.''

Ritza Tiana has been sidelined with a seasonal condition but trainer Mark Gatt said she is going "as good as ever" for her return in Saturday's Make Belrose Great Again Stakes, a 520m fifth grade.

Ritza Tiana's last start was four months ago but she is forward enough to notch her seventh win in 11 WP appearances when she exits box two on Saturday.

"She is trialling well but Ritza Tiana has never had much early pace,'' trainer Mark Gatt said.

"Although she moves wide on the bends I prefer her drawn inside because from there she has more chance of being close to the leaders at the first turn.''

Hardest for Ritza Tiana to beat should be Ritza Kris, who, like Ritza Tiana, is owned by Mark Gatt's father Frank Gatt.

But Ritza Kris is trained by Patricia Chaker, and the greyhound was impressive in scoring a sizzling 22.20 win over 400m at Bulli on Tuesday.

Ritza Kris is comfortable from outside boxes and looks capable of leading throughout from box seven.

President Rolex should wind up his Vic Peters Classic preparation by winning Saturday's top grade 520m event after drawing ideally in box one.

After the dog won in 29.66 from box eight at WP last Saturday, trainer Jason Mackay said he preferred the dog drawn on the rails, and President Rolex clocked 29.60 winning from box one on May 30.
