Before the packed grandstands, bright lights and pressure of the Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase Final night at Wentworth Park comes the hard work of qualifying and that journey begins at Nowra on Wednesday.
The regional series has always been one of the great features of the Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase concept, taking one of Australian greyhound racing’s premier events to tracks and communities across NSW and providing participants from throughout the State and interstate with an opportunity to chase racing’s ultimate prize.
Over the coming weeks, contenders will emerge, reputations will be enhanced and new stories will begin.
Some will be established stars like Wentworth Park track record holder, Jungle Johnny and Golden Easter Egg winner, Off The Chart.
Others may be greyhounds whose names are not yet familiar to greyhound racing fans as was the case in the inaugural Million Dollar Chase when Mystic Riot emerged from obscurity to claim the big one.
History has shown that the Million Dollar Chase has a habit of producing remarkable stories.

Now a new group of chasers get their opportunity to etch their name in history by winning the last ever Million Dollar Chase Final at greyhound racing’s sacred home, Wentworth Park.
