Intrepid Eagle (pictured), who produced a best time of the night win at his Wentworth Park debut on June 19, returns to headquarters in a 520m 1-3 wins fifth grade on Thursday night.

Trainer Wayne Bradley has declared his exciting prospect raring to go after a smart 515m trial at Gosford last Wednesday night.

"Intrepid Eagle's mission is the Gosford Goldmine heats on July 29, so I gave him a look at the track last week,'' Bradley said.

"I was more than happy with how he went so he is ready to run well on Thursday.

"My only concern is box eight as I'm not a fan of the outside draw at Wentworth Park.

"But Intrepid Eagle did handle box seven well enough when he won his first race over 340m at Bulli in February so as long as he gets away cleanly he should be okay.''

Golden Easter Egg winner Power And Glory is currently sidelined but his trainer Ken Burnett has two strong chances at Wentworth Park on Thursday night.

He has Bree Bree making her Wentworth Park race debut in the race five, a 520m fifth grade, and Sneaky Tycoon tackling the 720m Ladbrokes Bet Ticker Stakes, a 1-4 wins fifth grade.

"Bree Bree is ideally placed in box one so she just needs to make full use of her good draw,'' Burnett said.

"She has not raced at Wentworth Park but has had a couple of 520m trials there and clocked a handy 24.30 in a post-to-post slip at the track.

"And she always trials quickly at Dapto where she has won twice in the past six weeks.

"I really liked Sneaky Tycoon's second behind Suribachi over 720m at Wentworth Park last Saturday because that was only his second crack at the long distance trip.

"He clocked 41.92 getting beaten and I've always considered stayers are likely to improve after their second 720m outing.''

Wilson's Pick showed brilliant early speed winning over 520m at Wentworth Park in 30.22 and 30.51 in 2022 and trainer Martin Bowe believes she is capable of leading all the way in Thursday's Ladbrokes Blackbook Stakes, a 520m grade three Masters event.

"She turns five in November so has lost a touch of her early pace but I think she retains enough zip to the first turn to be the pacemaker against dogs her own age,'' Bowe said.

"Wilson's Pick has won 13 races at the provincials and been runner-up at four of her past five starts so other than slightly diminished early speed I believe she is going as well as ever.

"I have always liked her drawn wide but with only six rivals on Thursday I'm satisfied with her box three draw.''

Stepping up from fifth to top grade on Thursday night is unlikely to stop Unleash In Miami notching his 22nd win in 33 appearances.

The Peter Sims-trained flyer has box eight in the 520m Mark Hughes Foundation Free-For-All and while he has won his past two low grade Wentworth Park races from boxes two and one, his record from outside draws is equally impressive.

Unleash In Miami has won 11 of 12 races from boxes one and two but from boxes seven and eight he has been successful in four of five appearances.

Peter Sims has always considered Unleash In Miami a more reliable beginner from the outside alley and the dog wore the pink vest when he clocked near record time of 25.56 winning over 457m at Temora on June 11.

Best bet on Thursday should be the well boxed My Picasso, who has drawn seven in the Ladbrokes Punter Assist 1-3 wins 520m fifth grade.

My Picasso made a striking first Wentworth Park appearance on June 26, coming from box seven to lead from the first turn to score by five lengths in a slick 29.75.

Those figures were the quickest of the meeting and the Michelle Sultana-trained dog looks superbly positioned this week, with moderate beginners drawn either side of him in boxes six and eight.
