She's Blissful has a flawless record while wearing the red rug and looks posted to score her fourth win from box one in Thursday night's Happy 80th John Thomas Stakes at Wentworth Park.

Trained by Leanne Goodwin for prolific owners Greg Sprod and Tyrone Whittington, She's Blissful clocked 30.02 leading throughout from box one at Wentworth Park on November 6 and recorded 30.09 in her all-the-way victory from box seven last Saturday.

Leanne Goodwin's husband Nathan said: "We reckon She's Blissful is on the brink running 29.80 at Wenty.

"Two wins back they had just turned the track over and last Saturday it was raining.

"She's Blissful does a few funny things in the boxes, she tends to move backwards and forwards, but being in an odd-numbered draw helps her because it gives her more time to settle down.

"Her win last Saturday was very good because I thought she cleared her rivals easily but when I watched the replay she had to do a bit of work to find the fence.''

The Goodwins have been enjoying their best year and have several strong chances on Thursday, courtesy, Nathan concedes, of some great box draws.

"Cold Cold Night has jumped in front and made the pace at his past five Wentworth Park starts, for three wins, a second and a third,'' Nathan said.

"He is ideally positioned in box eight in Thursday's Thanks Fernando 520m third and fourth grade, although the way he has been jumping it doesn't seem to matter where he draws."

"Leanne has Flying Goddess in box one in the same race on Thursday and she loves the rails so we expect her to make a bold showing.

"We also have Major Flirt in box five in this event but I don't think he can win.''

The Nathan Goodwin-trained Past Tense has been placed in four of seven Wentworth Park appearances but gets his chance after coming up with box one in the All Hearts For Marlo 520m fifth grade.

"Past Tense had no luck when third from box two at Wenty last Saturday and while this is a tough race it wouldn't surprise us if he wins,'' Nathan said.

Wilson's Pick will be retired to the breeding barn after Thursday's Ladbrokes Sports Bar 520m Masters Stakes and trainer Martin Bowe is quietly confident she will go out a winner.

"She won at her first start in September, 2022, at Wentworth Park, so it's fitting she has drawn the same alley on Thursday,'' Bowe said.

"Wilson's Pick has been placed in three of her past four Masters races at Wentworth Park but they were in tougher class than the lineup she tackles on Thursday."

"Although she hasn't raced for six weeks she is going as well as ever and clocked a nippy 24.70 in a post-to-post slip at The Gardens in her last trial.

"I am looking forward to retiring her because she has won 16 races and should be a perfect match for the stud dog Tommy Shelby.''

Paw Bodhi was not tested beyond a middle distance in 49 Victorian starts but her NSW country trainer Ike McCordindale is confident she will have no trouble handling the 720m of Thursday's The Lids Fly On Ladbrokes Live Channels fifth grade at Wentworth Park.

"I would have preferred her drawn closer to the rails than box seven but she is going well and I was pleased with her second to Vodka And Ice, at only her second 720m test, at Wentworth Park on November 8,'' McCorkindale said.

There have been few more impressive Wentworth Park debut winners than Sabini last Thursday night but despite his slick 29.75 first-up figures trainer Brad Field is not getting carried away.

"Before last Thursday, Sabini had gone pretty well in a post-to-post slip at Wentworth Park and I was happy with how he went in his race,'' Field said.

"But he has a long way to go before I rate him a good greyhound.

"He is only a baby and is still very green and has a lot of learning to do.''

Last week Sabini, who has box one in Thursday's We Stand With Tasmania 520m fifth grade, began only fairly from box four but charged between rivals to lead just before first turn.

He then drew away to win by five lengths and will be going to the races for only the fourth time in this Thursday's race.
